Give a root, stun, slow or silence its own visual identity. Hexbound Control contains four original painted 256×256 effects with opening, looping active and ending phases.

• Briar Snare: a thorn cage rises and binds. Separate back/front passes let your character stand inside it.
• Starstagger: three amber crystal stars orbit independently with luminous trails.
• Stillglass: a cyan hourglass forms inside flowing time mist, then dissolves into displaced fragments.
• Hushseal: lilac ribbons bind an amethyst bell, then unravel.

Easy to inspect before integrating

Transparent PNG frames, padded sprite sheets, 24fps timing and exact pivots in JSON. Extract the archive and open index.html on desktop to preview actual sheets on dark or light backgrounds. Source includes original AI-assisted painted masters, exact prompts and editable animation code.

Sheets: eight columns, 260px cells with 2px padding on each side. Use 256×256 slice rectangles from assets.json. Briar foot pivot (128,208); Starstagger head pivot (128,124); Stillglass and Hushseal (128,128). Root back/front layers share placement and timing. Layer exports are not extra designs.

Know what you are buying

Fixed upright status overlays, not directional projectiles. Smooth painted VFX, not pixel art. Intended for 256px; fine detail weakens at smaller sizes. No character, sound, gameplay/status logic, normal maps, engine project or plugin. Browser/image checks are not Unity or Godot certification.
