A little thunder, four different ways

Stormbound brings four original lightning attacks to your fantasy combat scenes. Crisp 64×64 frames, eight 2D screen directions, and separate charge, looping travel and impact animations.

Four distinct spells

• Chainlash: a curling electrical lash with a pointed leader and branching hit.
• Thunder Lance: a narrow golden spear with flickering zigzag streamers and a sharp starburst impact.
• Ball Lightning: a blue-violet orb with crawling arcs, a pulsing core and an expanding discharge.
• Storm Disc: a hollow, serrated electrical ring that tumbles in flight and breaks into curved fragments.

Using the effects

Use nearest/point filtering. Every clip has a documented center pivot at (32,32). Charge once, loop travel while your game moves the effect, and play impact at collision. Directions are screen-plane rotations, not eight camera views. Chainlash is a finite visual lash, not a procedural beam that connects arbitrary targets. Returning or piercing disc behavior belongs to your game.

No sound, engine project, targeting, damage or collision code, normal/emission maps or engine/mobile certification. Desktop viewer, source reexport and fresh archive checks completed.

License and process

Commercial finished-project use under LICENSE.txt; no standalone asset resale or redistribution.
